Flawless Fit Alterations


One of our grand specialties with years of expertise is Flawless Fit alterations and garment renovation – there is no project too big or too small when it comes to this service. While Zoya Designs team will be able to provide any desired advice on the project, the main focus of this process is “How do YOU want it to look and to fit?” With this question answered, we will employ our skills and expertise to achieve that uniquely Flawless Fit.

FITTING COST: We charge $5 for a 30-minute fitting time (bridesmaid, formal, men’s, women’s casual garments) and $10 for a 1-hour fitting time (bridal, custom design, extended appointments due to volume). Fee is collected at the first fitting. All subsequential fittings and follow ups are free of charge.

TURNAROUND TIMES: Our peak season is between March and November.  For alterations on non-formal and casual garments, our typical turnaround time is 3+ weeks during the off-peak, and 6+ weeks during the peak season.  For bridal gowns, our typical turnaround time is 7+ weeks during the off-peak, and 12+ weeks during the peak season.   During the peak season, we book up with appointments very quickly, so from the moment you call to schedule an appointment, you can expect to come in for your first fitting within a month from the call.  

Rush fee of $10 will apply for non-formal/casual garments requested to be delivered under 10 business days; $15 for special occasion garments under 15 business days; and $25 for bridal gowns under 20 business days.  Our business days are Tuesday thru Saturday (5 days).

WHEN TO SCHEDULE:  You can schedule your appointments as far in advance as you wish.   If you are planning to gain/loose/shape up, and think you will change in size, please book an appointment as close to your event as typical turnaround times will allow.  Please keep in mind that between April and September we get booked 3-4 weeks in advance, so please book early!  Our online schedule system is the best way to book at your convenience.

PRICE ESTIMATE CONSULTATIONS:  We provide a very transparent and comprehensive price list online for most procedures done on garments.  If the price list is not helpful, you can email an image of your garment to Zoya@zoyadesigns.com and what you think needs to be done, and we will get back to you with some ranges for the prices.  We also offer consultations in the store for a fee of $35 for bridal/custom design, and $20 for non-bridal/casual garment. (must be prepaid at booking).

WHAT TO BRING:  Once the appointment is scheduled, you should receive a confirmation and a reminder closer to the date of your appointment from our Appointy scheduling system.  For all of your appointments, please bring your shoes (or same size heel - very important for marking the hem properly), and any shape-wear/undergarments you are planning to wear with your gown.

PLEASE NOTE: We understand that there are all kinds of circumstances, so we would like to offer a 20% DISCOUNT ON RE-ALTERATIONS DUE TO weight loss/gain, change of shoes (heel size), and change of mind on previously agreed procedure.  If none of the following happened and the gown needs additional work on the seams for which you were previously charged, Zoya Designs will be happy to adjust them free of charge.

REFUND POLICY: At Zoya Designs' team discretion, we provide full refund on canceled orders minus $35 consultation fee for bridal/1 hour appointment or minus $20 for non-bridal/30 min appointment.  Refund will be provided in the original form of payment.  If the work already has been completed to the prior agreement, refund will not be provided (we typically start on the garments the week before your next appointment).
