Zoya Designs Founder
Established in 2012.
In 2002, I began working as a tailor in the men’s clothing store. Throughout my tailoring career, I spent over a decade gathering expertise from amazing artisans with whom I was fortunate to share a team in retailers like Men’s Wearhouse, Nordstrom, David’s Bridal, and Nieman Marcus. In July 2010, I began creating small collections and presenting fashion shows all around Boston.
In 2012, with encouragement of my now husband Konstantin, I decided to take a chance in opening my own sewing studio in Somerville, MA. While opening the studio, I became a part of incredibly talented crew of Boston Ballet Costume Shop during the complete revamp of Nutcracker costumes designed by esteemed Robert Perdziola.
Currently, our Zoya Designs’ team of 4 provides a variety of sewing services in my new studio in Bedford, MA. I also occasionally assist Boston Ballet with costumes, and work on costumes in films as a member of a IATSE Local 481 as a tailor and stitcher.
